I want to ask, just a little confuse about NVC automated recordings. My hubby called yesterday, Dec.26 to NVC to hear the automated recordings and he heard that they receive our payment for the affidavit of support, Dec.3. But we already receive the I-864 packet and the DS-3032 two weeks ago? And I see the date from NVC in the letter head, it was NOv. 26, 2007. Do they send us a form (DS-3032 and instructions about downloading I-864) first, before we can hear in the recordings that they generate the I-864 and the DS-3032? Or is there a possibility they are delayed in updating the automated recordings? Please help..

I suspect something has changed with respect to the fees and the forms.
I recently received and mailed my IV fee bill, 12/10/2007, yet the recording says they mailed my ds-230 on 12/12/2007.
No way they processed the payment that quickly.

Perhaps they are no longer waiting on the fee before mailing out the forms?
Just a guess, but it would explain your and my situations.
