Hi folks,

This is for Canadians who are waiting for there interview at Montreal Consulate after getting married to a a US citizen/LPR.

The consulate says that there is a wait time of around 4-6 months before an interview is scheduled after getting the file from NVC. It also says that this is valid for petitions filed in Canada.

The pararaph is silent about the petitions filled in US by a US citizen for his spouse in Canada.

Any clues whether there are 2 different waiting times for petition filed in USA and Canada or its all the same queue for waiting for an interview???
