I was wondering how long it takes from the package receipt date until the check is cashed ?

It could take weeks for them to cash the checks and it really does not mean that the application was accepted either. All one can do is really hope for the best. Reading some of the timelines for most VJ members it takes any where from three weeks to a month to cash the check.

will I receive my extension letter after they cash the check ? or those two things are not connected ?
