I got my affidavit of Support from my Fiance yesterday. My worry is that its not notarized. Should it be notarized? one more thing, what is that W-2 looks like because i didn't find any W2 in the documents he sent to me? I am really worry!

Don't worry. These are easy fixes. First, I highly recommend having him re-send the Affidavit of Support notarized. An affidavit is, by definition, a sworn statement signed in front of a notary or judicial official. In other words, if it's not notarized, it's not an affidavit and not what you need. This could result in you going to your interview and then having to reschedule and wait that much longer. And he'll have to re-send anyways.
A W-2 is hard to miss. I looks kind of like your visa forms: a bunch of boxes that make up one block. On the side it will read, "Form W-2 2006 Wage and Tax Statement". It will list your fiancee's address, the address of his employer, the wages he earned, and taxes he paid. If it's not there just have him send it with another Affidavit of Support.
Good luck!!!

Yeah you need to have it notarized. You still have time if your fiance sends it thru fedex it should get to you before the 9th. Don't stress out so much, you will be fine. Enjoy the holidays! smile.gif

When my co sponsor printed out the affidavit of support the "state" my fiance lives in was too long so it has the little plus sign instead of the whole city name for example it says "wilf+" instead of wilford. Everything else is fine though and it is notarized. Will this be a problem?
