Hello,

On Dec 11th, I received an email from CRIS stating my I-130 petition was approved and that a letter was mailed out. It's now going on 2 weeks and I have not yet receive this letter. They have the correct address as when I received my NOA1, everything was correct. Is this normal or maybe it's the holiday and it's taking way longer then usual? Any advice on what to do?

I would appreciate it. Thanks

Hey Tash,

I got my email that my father's case was approved on Dec. 8th and we received the letter in the mail on the 13th. I am sure the letter is in the mail and maybe it has been delayed with the holiday. I hope you receive it soon, but otherwise at least you know it's done with USCIS and it is on to NVC!!! kicking.gif kicking.gif

This is a very heavy time of year for mail. You might try calling the NVC automated line and selected the 1 option to enter your USCIS number to see if they have received it yet.

I have been checking every other day to see if they received my dad's case at the NVC and still no record of it. Tash, you can try to see if they have received yours.
When you call the number (603) 334-0700; the options are 1, 1, 1 after this third 1, you may want to listen for the 3 letters before the numbers. If it is WAC, that is option 4; once you confirm the 3 letters, enter in the 10 digits followed by the # sign. I hope it is finally at NVC. If nothing yet, check back with them in January.

Best of luck to you biggrin.gif

Tash, my girl just be a little patient. I was told by one of those government workers that a letter was sent out to me on 12/3. I received it on 12/22 with a postmarked date of 12/19. Maybe the letter was generated but not mailed. Just keep checking your mail. You know you have been approved and good luck withe the rest of your journey. good.gif good.gif good.gif

Thanks for the NVC number. It's now stored in my phone along with the shortcuts. I checked and there is no record as of yet. I guess because it is the Holiday season, everything is taking longer then usual. Well, I appreciate all the replies from everyone. I will wait patiently and keep checking the automated system.

HAPPY HOLIDAY, SEASON GREETINGS TO ALL.....
