hi everyone! my husband and i will start applying for K3 visa. we saved our conversations from may 2005- dec 2007 as one of proof of our relationship. the thing is, we only printed out 2 conversations in a month and we dnt know if that is already enough or we need to print out more? although we have loads of other proofs like phone bills, emails, text messages, cards, hotel accommodations etc. but what we r wondering is if we need to print out more of our chat convo. helpsmilie.gif

Go also for co mingling of assets, i.e, mortgage or lease/rental with both names on it, bank stmt, credit cards car note whatever.......will, investments whatever shows money coming in or going out.....well at least this is what our lawyer said and also it is posted on alot of other topics.

Good Luck to you and Happy Holidays!!!!

The coversations will be good for your interview. Two conversations a month should do fine, but I also copied the chat archives for our interview. I also added a copy of an email with the user names and real names showing.

Below is what should be used for proof of a Bonafide Marriageto be sent in with the I-130 application. Most petitioners use the affidavit since newly married couples have little to show proof of a Bonafide Marriage.

Note: Evidence of a Bonifide Marriage
The USCIS now requires that when filing an I-130 for a spouse that you include evidence of a bonifide marriage. They list examples of acceptable evidence as:
1. Documentation showing joint ownership or property; or
2. A lease showing joint tenancy of a common residence; or
3. Documentation showing co-mingling of financialresources; or
4. Birth certificate(s) of child(ren) born to you, thepetitioner, and your spouse together; or
5. Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties havingpersonal knowledge of the bona fides of the maritalrelationship (Each affidavit must contain the full nameand address, date and place of birth of the person makingthe affidavit, his or her relationship to the petitioner ofbeneficiary, if any, and complete information and detailsexplaining how the person acquired his or herknowledge of your marriage); or
6. Any other relevant documentation to establish that thereis an ongoing marital union.

As of now, in regards with co-mingling of financial resources ,., what we only have is western union receipts from march 2006 until now ,., do you think that will do? unsure.gif
Good luck to your up coming interview and Happy Holidays!

Good luck to your up coming interview and Happy Holidays!

Thank You and Merry Christmas + Happy New Year to you also.

The Instant Messages and Western Union receipts should be enough proof as they can be used for the interview process to prove an ongoing relationship, but realize the final decision is up to the adjudicator of your petition. Most adjudicators should realize you are newlyweds and do not have much for proof an ongoing relationship. Have a pleasant Visa journey may you learn to be patient.
