I would really recommend calling USCIS (CSC) using the RFE trick. I called (and I dunno it may have been a coincidence) and the man I talked to sounded surprised and said it should be shipped out soon. It was shipped the next day.

He also told me when NVC should have record of it (which was late this week) and they got it on Thursday.

We got our NOA 2 on December 13 and I called yesterday, 12/21 and used the RFE trick. The officer stated that it still did not ship out and explained the scenerio (having to fill the boxes up before shipping to NVC). He said to check back in a couple weeks.
I must admit, the RFE trick is the only way to go. The regular customer service at USCIS has very little information...

I've been waiting for about 2 weeks now, and I've been calling to NVC to get updates but apparently I should call USCIS to get more info...but since I'm on vacaction I don't want to ruin it by losing my patience LoL, I'll call when I get back, but at least I know that I'm not the only one waiting....hey I got my NOA2 before Christmas that alone is amazing

Ours took 42 days from CSC to NVC. I hope none of you have to go through the torture that we did!

Sure - give NVC a call and see if they have your package yet - tends to take a few weeks to get to NVC from CSC though so bear that in mind
