Okay, I'm probably only going nuts over this cause I'm home sick and have nothing better to do . . . .

But I got touched yesterday. I got touched again today. But I'm only a November filer, so why would they be touching my case twice so soon. I've looked at Vjer's timelines and most who get touched two days in a row either get an RFE or an NOA2.

Would there be any other reason I got touched two days in a row?

And what would that reason be??

Touches can be something as trivial as someone passing it from one desk to another, or the pallet/box being moved to another store room. Sometimes you might see a pattern, but for the most part, touches have no bearing on the progress of your case.

good.gif We will see though. Good luck!

Thanks!! I was worried that it might be an RFE. I KNOW it's too early for the NOA2 and I would really feel bad if I got approved ahead of people who've been waiting for MONTHS for their NOA2. They're probably just moving the box in the storage room, I guess.

Yep.. You're best off just taking your mind off it.

Some people flood the service center with constant calls wanting to know their case status. This HAS to slow them down, and is completely unnecessary in most cases.

Some people obsess over every "touch" they get, and go nuts and start calling themselves random names like "the oatmeal" or "grand midget"... Some end up in an asylum, which is why they stop posting on VJ.

I digress... But just be patient, and don't fret, especially this early (yes, I know it's easier said than done)

Well, at least I knew not to call them about it. I know it's early. I'm just a little on edge, you know - the holidays without my SO. cray5ol.gif But I know I'm not the only one . . .

Must be really frustrating getting touches so early in the process!! Hey who knows - you may even get approved really early - it has happened to others smile.gif But as Jesse said - calling prolly won't help too much - we found that when we called we didn't get any info so we stopped bothering and figured it would all happen in time, RFE or no RFE - when we (eventually!) got our touches I didn't care if it was an NOA2 or an RFE - I was just glad it hadn't fallen down the back of a filing cabinet! laughing.gif

You're right. It's good to know it isn't just rotting away in some storage room. It just worried me a little because I didn't think ANYTHING would happen to it so early. BTW, congrats again on your approval Jeraly. It's about time!!!
