hi all, just have a quick question about the form from the AFP for a police check:

the front page has the spot for your name, and then has some more spaces to fill in... what do you put for:

(iii) (Name of Organisation/Department/Employer seeking information) - I would guess USCIS?

and their agent (Agent/Background checking company) - I have no idea????

sorry; dumb question, I know, but I want to get the damn thing in the mail before I go away for Christmas smile.gif
(I live in London currently, so am doing the OS form; don't know if that makes any difference)

thanks in advance for any help!! smile.gif

(iii) (Name of Organisation/Department/Employer seeking information) - Actually US Department of State, (Consulate or Embassy) is requesting you to get the police cert NOT USCIS

ok, thanks - so I put 'US Department of State' in the first space; what do I put in the second? or do I just leave it blank?

ok, I'm going nuts here... been filling in applications and forms for various things all afternoon, and have finally got to this one... now, there are many references on the information sheet to 'the required fee' and how it has to be in Australian dollars and if sending a cheque it must be affiliated with an Australian bank etc etc - but NOWHERE can I find how much this fee is! can anyone help me? a link, a recent reference to how much it costs to get a police check through the AFP?

egad; I'm ready to tear my hair out with all this; it's not like ANYthing can be bloody simple, can it... *mumble grumble*
StillThePrettiest
ok, hold it - I think I've got it smile.gif
the AFP site's search engine is completely bloody useless, but Google came through for me... $32.73, right? smile.gif

I think you'll find it's the 118.00 one,..you have to have a fingerprint check done as well as police check,..

mine cost around 100.00 or so 4 years ago,..
StillThePrettiest
can't do fingerprints in Australia; I'm in London smile.gif

there's no mention of fingerprints on the form I was sent... I think it's just the check

no fingerprints required for the UK one either, and I'm actually in a position to provide them wink.gif
