Hello everyone, l am faith11.
My case was approved november 8,2007 after 232 days waiting and we havenīt made it to NVC yet. My husband called USCIS today and our case hasnīt been sent yet.
They said that the paperworks are being signed off by an investigating officer and when this is done then they send it.
My husband asked if there was anything wrong with the case and the woman said that nothing was wrong, that the petitions were approved.
l am very sad now, because itsīmore than a month and nothing yet for my case, when they say investigating officer could this be that there is anything wrong with our paperworks. Should l be worried about this or maybe l am just being paranoid.
This process has been so long and stressful that the only thing l want is to be over and finally be with my husband.
Does anybody here knows about this investigating officer signing approved petitions, and how long could this take?
Thanks.
Faith11.

Hi Faith11,

I am unsure what they are doing with your petition but, whatever it is, I hope it is resolved speedily for you. You have waited so long already and you deserve to be out of the CSC by now.

Keep your hopes up smile.gif

Hi My Friend, Are you ever been in the USA Before? Because They did exactly the same with our process, they just check my background, to make sure everything was ok, So, Dont worry I guess this is the process they have to follow.

Yenys,

Were you investigated because you had been in the US before or do they do it for everyone? My wife has never been outside of Colombia before, so I wonder if it applies to her.
My Honey
I'm sorry to hear about the delay. CSC is the worse and I was very happy when our applications were away from this service center. Once CSC finally releases the applications the NVC is very efficient and fast. When the NVC is completed there part the documents are sent electronically to the embassy. I hope very soon CSC gets there act together and your applications are with the NVC. Our I-130 application is still pending on the USCIS website. CSC needs lots of adjustments and help because there service is poor.... Good luck Faith II.

I Think they do the same for everybody, but my guess is that take more time if the beneficiary have been at least once in the USA, It's just a Tought. I came to USA once before to meet my Husband, maybe for that our process took almost 6 weeks for the next step wich was the BGT number.

Hope that your process dont take this long, this is very stressful process, but when you are in God's hands and trust and believe that You really are in, make this process a lot easier.
