Hello everyone. I am currently USC. I would like to petition for my dad and my brother (14 yrs old) for green cards. My dad is currently on tourist visa (B1) and my brother (F1) visa. I would like to know how can I petition for them? How long does it take for the whole process? Can my dad include my brother in his application for green card OR my brother has to wait until my dad get his green card approve and then my dad apply for my brother.

Assuming you ae over 21 you can petition your Father.

You can also petition for your Brother, howeve it may be quicker for your Father to petition for him once he has PR status.

Or go both ways and see which comes through first.

You can petition for both, but father will get classified and issued an imediate visa classed in the Unlimited class, however brorther will be waiting a long time for a visa due to siblings being classed as family forth prefrence, it may be faster for father to get green-card, and then father petition for son.

So my brother has to wait until my dad get his green card and then my dad can petition for my brother right?? If my dad is in America. He would probably wait for about 1 year to get his green card right??

Mine was 15 months, but it varies depending where you are etc.

And say another 4 or 5 years for him to petition your Brother.

For brother it is hard to say, the OP (Tobias) does not have home country indicated in their profile, so I cannot get a definate answer from the visa bulletin on DOS website, some countries are over subscribed and F4 class has up to a 20 year wait.
