hi I just got approved for my greencard. My SSN is still under my single name.What is the requiremnts in having it changed into my married name. Once i have it change are they going to replace my old number also or its still gonna be the same?

Number will not change, but should be issued an unrestricted SSN card. If your marriage certificate has your date of birth or age, that and your I-551 stamp or card should be enough. If your married name is on your I-551 card that will make things a bit easier.

Once again DO NOT DO NOT let them have your old SSN card until you get the new one. Say the dog ate it or you washed it up in the washing machine.

oh i dont have that because i didnt have any interview. I just got approved by recieving emails from uscis.
