Just starting to look at EAD details - have applied for K-1 visa and awaiting NOA2.
Just one quick question - how long is the EAD valid for. I would be guessing a year, but would be good to know if my guess is accurate.

Yes, the EAD is valid for one year from date of issue.

The EAD should be valid for one year from the date of adjudication. In our case for the 1st EAD, the ASC was so slow the EAD was approved, but pending biometrics. They wound up issuing my husband an EAD in mid February with an effective date of the previous December.
Not the norm though, but I have seen it happen to a rare few others.
