Actually, wanted to add, the notice date on it is 11/27. Which is one day after I mailed it out, the day they received it! o.O Is that normal?!

Hey, Raspberry, I mailed at the same day and received the notice today also dated 11/27. I guess that's their way to date their notice and also I would assume all the new petitions have been rerouted automatically to CSC. Seems it took them 14 business days to send out the notice. It's pretty normal but very fast comparing to NSC. CSC rocks!!!

Yes, this is normal. In one of the earlier notices that USCIS sent out regarding receipting delays because of the backlogs, they mentioned that receipt dates will be the date the file was actually received at the first service center it was sent to. This is done in order to ensure that none of the applicants suffer from the backlog in terms of processing time issues.

that is very fast, our NOA1 date is 12/21/07 at CSC as well, guess we will hear about the biometrics in a couple of weeks as well.

I got my extension letter yesterday, less than a week after my receipt... I've been transferred to Vermont. I hope that means something good!
