Well, my husband got a phone call from the embassy today asking for him to bring his passport to the Embassy so they can get on with the Visa... Im happy and excited and wondering whats next, how long will they take to give him his visa or will he get it this week!?

This is a such a blessing and a relief! I will keep ya'll posted if we get the visa soon or what happens after he brings the passport to the Embassy tomorrow!

Yes mam i do KNOW! thank you!!!!!! Well, Im waiting for my tired husband to go online with me to tell me about it more, but from my understanding... they had his name at the gate, he gave them his passport and they told him in a week he will get his visa! SO !!! Let me wait and see the VISA in his Hand! Then I can cry and scream and jump up and down like a crazy woman ! ! !

On monday they told him they will contact him in a week... and he asked "After Eid?" and she said Yes and smiled.... soooo i was wondering what about you girls ... how did it go for your SO!?

OK... so he gets 3 calls the week before Christmas and the last one tells him to BRING his Passport to the Embassy on Monday Dec 17th ... which he did... then he was told they would contact him in a week... so last night I wrote the embassy and here is their response...


Dear Madam,

Your husband’s case is currently pending submission of a movement certificate obtainable at the Egyptian passport authority. Once received, we will process his case to conclusion.
