Hi Everyone,

My fiancee, Joy, has her embassy interview scheduled for Feb. 7. The I-129F package and USCIS approval was received by the embassy on Nov. 28. I am wondering when IO can expect that Joy will get her Packet 4, along with the actual appointment letter.

Has anyone with a Fe, interview gotten their packet 4 yet? Thanks.

My interview schedule is on February 05, 2008. No packet 4 yet.

I want to have Joy do an early medical at St. Luke's on Jan. 9 and 10, but worried that she may not have her appointment letter by then. If she doesn't have the actual letter, would they accept a print out from the embassy website showing appoinment dates?

My honey Antonette does not have Packet 4 yet. Her interview is February 4. She is going for medical 2 weeks early...about the 14th of January. You can print out medical and interview schedule online from Embassy website. I was told they accept it at St. Lukes.

You can also request a packet pickup at SLEC. I do not remember the details, but you must contact the USEM.

No Packet 4 yet...My honey has February 4th interview. Hope it arrives in the soonest time!!!!!
Or she will have to go to internet cafe and print out schedule from Embassy website, for early medical.

hi, I have a february 6 interview and I still don't have my packet yet...I'm still going to wait for it until this december...I'm planning to have the medical by the first week of January and if my packet doesnt arrive by that time, i'll just probably printout the appointment form from the internet or request for a pickup of the packet...

I just wanna ask if they touched your docs the 2nd time only after your call? Coz we have received the NOA-1 July 2 ( but as indicated in their USCIS website it has been acknowledged July 10) and was touched only for the 1st time July 14, 2007. After that, nothing anymore. It has been 160 days since July 10 and no word yet. I think i should ask my fiance to call USCIS also to follow up too as the we are way beyond already the average processing date for K1 visa. Anyway goodluck and wish me luck too!

any time I called the USCIS about my case I recieved two touches. At least everytime I talked to CSC. There is also a role over center in New Mexico that didn't always show a touch.

Oh and No P4 for me eather

Some petitioners receive touches and others do not. Our petition was not touched until the day after approval. Each visa journey has its own timeline and so will yours. Plus, an average is just one way of figuring the middle point (e.g. mean, mode, medium). I know waiting is hard, but there is little you can do to speed up the process. Hopefully your aprroval will come soon!

It takes a few day for the case to reach the embassy and then a more time for the embassy to schedule the interview and for the packet to come thru the Philippine mail system. As agent for my wife, I received the packet within a week of the case being complete and sent my wife copies. Her packet arrived a week later and she lives in Metro Manila, I'm sure delivery to some of the provinces would take longer. K visas timeline may be a little different since the scheduling is done at the embassy.

Got my Packet 4 this afternoon.. Dec 28 DHL delivered it in our home. so happy!! Have an interview on Feb 4 God Bless us all!

Meryll received her packet IV Friday morning on December 28. NVC sent my packet IV out on December 10 and it has not arrived yet.

I also sent documents, proof, and pictures out today. The package only weighed 1 pound 8 ounces. I hope this is enough proof for USEM.

I got mine delivered to my house on December 22 but the guard told them I was not at home since I was in Hong Kong so they redelivered it on the 26th and I got it.

you can e-mail the embassy , of cours they can accpet e-mail , some peple get never the mial so e-mails work too.

Hi, my fiance lives in Davao too. Her interview is on Feb 4th as we our on the same time table as you guys. She received her packet just yesterday, so hopefully you have gotten yours by now or maybe tomorrow. God Bless and boy our we excited. Joe

Got my Packet 4 yesterday afternoon (jan.2,080). They delivered it to the wrong house!!! but good thing someone in that wrong house contacted me and told me i have a package delivery. (my number was written on the receipt slip).

good thing my sister was awake to receive the DHL delivery, shucks!!!
by the way, i did my 1st day of medical today...
it was ok...there were a lot of people at the 2nd flr immunization section...people were getting aggravated...good thing i arrived early so i wa always first in line...

amazing..!!! I got 2 packets from US Embassy,, they love me hahahaa...one received last jan 4 and the second one just today...good luck to everyone for those who will be having the february interviews....you are in my prayers guys....

I don't understand why it would take so long for a letter to get across town. I called the embassy and was told the packet 4 was sent on the 20th of Dec. Then was told that my baby could go to the hospital cause a copy would be there. After wasting a trip there on the 2nd of Jan only to find out no copy made it there yet???? I heard of slow mail this is crazy. Lucky for us my baby spoke to one of the nurses and was called that the copy showed up and she was able to do the medical on 4th of Jan.

The appt. letter finally shows up on the 8th of Jan (19 days for mail in Manila?) Oh well just the interview to go and we can battle the forms and waiting together in the states.

hello! got my packet 4 after calling USEM. I informed them for my plans of an early medical exams and Ms. Grace told me that she will make my packet available for pick up at St. Luke's. Then the next day I received packet 4 thru DHL.

My fiancee Never received her packet/appointment letter. There is nothing unique about the packet except the appointment letter. The rest of the packet just contains instructions, etc. that are also on the USE website and also samples here on VJ. She was allowed to use the website printout for both medical at St.Lukes and to enter the Embassy.

Spoke with Grace at the USE about not receiving the packet and she did not seem worried and informed us about bringing the printout to the Embassy as well.

just curious and (innocent ) maybe.. what's in Packet 4 anyways???
