My case completed October 26, still no interview date. I have called almost everyday this week, NOTHING!!! I called department of state and was told that Kingston is so backed up that it is taking close to six months once the case get tot he embassy. I really dont believe it when someone on here has an interview date for January with case complete a a couple weeks before mine. I have asked if it is undergoing some additional review, NO. if something is wrong, NO. I can not figure out what it could be. Anythoughts. Also how many people going through Jamaica have January interviews, because I am beginning to wonder if its just our case.

thanks

First bit of advice......NEVER try and figure out the Jamaican Embassy. They are so a$$backwards, it's not even funny.

They have about one week a month where they schedule interviews for the next month. It's very frustrating.

Head over to the Yardie #5 thread. There may be someone on there who can give you a clearer answer.

Good luck to you.

The scheduling of interview for K-3 filers is done at the Embassy, On the other hand, the NVC arranges the CR-1/IR-1 interviews. Had I not contacted Senator Isakson's office, I would still be waiting for an interview. Is 202-663-1225 the number that you are calling? I agree with Jomo's girl. Please don't try to figure out this process. It will drive you nuts!
