we have just sent off our DS-230 today and we have already sent I-864. Since i sent in all original civil documents like my(beneficiery) birth certificate, marriage certificate, Police certificate, and copy of bio-page of passport, i wan to know if i am also expected to take originals of above all at the interview as well?

I am asking this because my birth cetificate is from my home country and it takes forever for them to issue a birthcertificate. Also, I have nobody there who can take care of that for me..

so pls let me know what exactly you all brought with you to interview!!

No, they will give the originals back to you at the interview.

The only actual paperwork you should take with you is updated forms, like if the sponsor changes jobs, anything along that line.

I got one more question about it...then in an appointment letter do they specify which forms or anything they want updated at interview to bring?..i mean let's say do they say in that letter that they would need updated I-864 or something?
because it's hard to guess if we need to bring it or not..

As far as I remember, they give you very precise instructions as to how to prepare for the interview.
Remember to buy your XPress post envelope, etc.

India? Take all originals that haven't been sent in. The large regular xpresspost envelope (regional for ON and QC and national for the rest of Canada) is required and put the requested documents (passport, photos, etc.) in the order that is in the material they sent to you. It will make life much easier. Take one more thing, a good sense of humour and you'll be fine.
