Holly you were right we're gonna get pummeled today I"m going to try to see if I can leave here at 3:30 to avoid probably the worst commute of the year.

Woke up feeling like there's a dry dry sock in my throat so I thought I'd coat it nicely with two glazed cruellers and a vanilla spice coffee.

Now I'm wicked full and still feel like there's a dry dry sock in my throat.

I'm nervous about the weather too, especially with a 45 minute drive from here to work (36 miles). Not like I haven't done it before, but it's not like I enjoy it either.

wow, three for three here, i think i had the other sock in my throat as well ...lol. What's going on?? Weather is getting kind of nasty right now. I think it's freezing rain right now. At this rate, I think i will trade my car in for some good ice-skates to commute to work!

had a drs appt today. Im near 15wks. Dr was doing a femur length measurement and we sure say a dangeler....and it wasnt the cord. looked just like a turtle lol. Dr said that its not 100% yet but its a lot more accurate now then his girl assumption 3wks ago. sooooooooooooo.....we dont have a boys name even in mind...but we will look again in 2wks when we go back.

all the schools in my moms area in ny are closed, they got hit hard last night and expecting more today....well it has 30 days to clear up..we are soooooo hoping the weather isnt too bad when i arrive.

Today is the first day I don't have to leave the house a hour early just to get to work. The ice here is retarded! My aunt and uncle live in St. Joe, MO, about 3 hours away and 90% of the town is out of electricity and they are expecting it to take at least up to 10 days before things are up and running again. We lucked out and didn't lose electric although a few did, but other places in the state really got slammed.

So....the computer techs are FINALLY coming to hook up our computer system today! (they are only 3 weeks late! ) This working off our laptops has been for the birds!

sounds as if most of u are getting what we had, still power off to alot in the city, looks like a war zone then you will see a caravan of power/electricity trucks heading out to repair things guess they are here fr all over to help. Now the bad thing is today is supposed to be (decent) then tomorrow starts rain turning to about four inches of snow Friday/Sat.All our conference/banquet partys for work are cancelled since alot would need to come in from all over the state to attend and the conference area is now a shelter for those with no power and the banquet location has no power.......

There was a lost of electricity for about 3 hours last night in my area

I feel like such a doofus. Four women in my office are talking about the Hannah Montana concert next Friday and here I am I didnt' even sign the kids up for the fan club so no tickets for us. I would have loved to have gone since I love the Jonas (sp?) boys. lol

The drs here rarely use handheld dopplers, they think they put off more heat then ultrasounds.....so they do them at every visit.

It looks like it's going to be a rough couple of days Ten minutes after I got to work this morning we lost power. I'm not sure why, it's not snowing yet, but it was eerie. Luckily it's back on and a lot less creepy in here. I'm trying to wrap things up here by early afternoon and I don't even know about tomorrow... if it's as bad as it sounds like it's going to be, I might just have to stay snowed in for a couple days

I went through all day yesterday thinking it was Thursday (even though I posted a camel in the hump day thraed..) so imagine my disappoint when I woke up and had to do Thursday all over again! I did quite a bit of damage last night at the mall xmas shopping and was planning on going again tonight, but I think my credit card could use a little rest. I'm looking forward to a little holiday vaca time!!!

Oh ok. We will never get to see our baby by ultrasound again. The last time was a 16 weeks. We do have some great pics. You can see her face very very clear. I will post them tomorrow.

I'm hoping they'll let us out early (usually they let us out at 3 if a storm's gonna effect the commute). Snow will start around 1. 128 is gonna be a flippin' mess even by then.

With my son i got 3 ultrasounds in the first 16wks, then after 24wks i got them almost monthly because the baby started measuring real big.....he was 9lbs 15oz at birth lol.

9 lbs 15 oz????? Wow, your little man, D, was a big boy! My Jessica was 8 lb 1 oz. Do they think this baby wiil weigh over 8 lbs Jess?

Wow Jess He's a cute little guy (or girl). All the people in my family are tiny 5'1.5"-ers, and they all have babies 2-3 weeks early (like I was 2 weeks early, 21" 6lbs6oz). I'm hoping for the same.

WOW!!! I believe this girl will be the biggest baby I have had. My stomach is bigger this time around than ever before. I am still very tiny though. I have to remind my hubby that there is a little one in my belly.

i wasnt 100% sure of my lmp so the due date wasnt very accurate for him. he was taken csection 2wks before i was 'due' according to some measurements in earlier ultrasounds, when they checked him out he was actually 41wks gestation..so he was a week 'late'

this one we are very sure about all dates and can watch closely. i am hoping for natural delivery this time..soooooo we are hoping the baby wont be over 8lbs, or at least not over 9 lol.

he sure was a big boy! he is 7 now and is 75lbs and is near 4ft tall. and no there isnt lots of tall people in my or ex's family. crazy.




thanks we are hoping for healthy thats it. as far as the size, im hoping the baby is a decent size...and if 'he' gets to big i guess another csection is the way ill have to go.

well it's a big fat no on leaving early unless I want to take earned time. I bumped into the boss in the coffee room and she said she's glad she arranged for someone to take care of her child today since she doesn't believe in leaving early due to storms.



my first baby was 8'3" and my second was just shy of 5 lbs. She's still tiny today. My mom said after my first was born there was nothing left for the second one. (they're 360 days apart) lol

I like bigger babies. Everyone was afraid to hold my second one because they thought they'd break her and I was always worried about her health.

ooof 128? I hate having to get on 128 during a regular commute, let alone in the snow... good luck! I'm hoping Rt. 2 won't be too bad...


We just got an email that we get to leave after lunch!

My sister was 10 lbs. 2 oz. My mother had a regular birth. Wadi was also over 10 lbs. This makes me very nervous!

They won't send us an email until it actually starts snowing, I'm sure. Lucky you!!!!

Good morning everyone, all this winter weather and icy conditions has caused me a 2 day delay trying to fly into OKC on Sunday. I finally was able to get home on Tuesday!! But your right brnidokiegurl, looks like another cold weekend. Brrrrr, Hope everyone stays warm.

It took 10 mins to take a final that began at 7:30AM.

Now I just have to final that written final. The other one was 32 pages and I had to think about how long this second one is going to be and how it's going to take all day. It's due at 12pm tomorrow.

Yay Jen!! I don't think the snow is suppose to come down here to DC. It was rainy this morning but I think it will be ok. Busy day here in the office. I have a ton of write ups to do. SO tell me does this sound weird?

I'm going back to my hometown for like 10 days and will see a lot of people from HS that I haven't really seen in like 5 years. Now where I grew up yea it's basically a bunch of bar crawling hicks. But I'm all stressed out about getting some new clothes and looking "city chic" even though anything there is better than flannel. Maybe I'm just weird.....but damn I'm like the only one who's gotten out of there so come on!

It's 10.33am and I'm eating a salad because I'm hungry. Will have salad for lunch. Yum! Can't wait for my weigh in of week 1 where I am back to my old eating habits (pre-Ammar arriving). So far I cheated and weighed in once (am weighing weekly) and lost 3lbs. Sounds like old diet was causing water retention because 3lbs in 3 days isn't really possible with fat loss. Not caring though, I'll take the 3lbs.

I still live somewhat close to my hometown, and it's amazing to see how much some of the prettiest girls (and guys too, for that matter) just let themselves all go to hell after high school. Like all the guys have little beer guts. And then some of the people have changed sooooooooo much since high school I don't even recognize them...and it's only been like 5 years since graduation!

Everyone recognizes me before I do them...because I don't change. lol.


The snow isn't bad yet here, but right now I'm at work in New London so I'm right on the water and it's never as bad here as it is inland.

today i have to take my kitty to the vet because he's been half coughing/half heaving? i don't know but he sticks his tongue out and like...weazes! he also is STARVING all the time like he never eats. if you even go near the kitchen he meows like crazy and begs for food. i hope its not his thyroid.

hope its something simple... Its so hard when the little ones are sick...

great trick to give meds to animals put the pills in cream cheese and smash it to the roof of their mouth. It works really well with my dog , I haven't tried it on my cat.

I think I might be having a sick day today - I'm not sick, but all my clients are w/ some terrible funkiness that I certainly don't want or need. They're all canceling! Kinda sucks, but I'll make the best of it. Maybe today is house cleaning day instead and then I'll make some holiday treats.
