] ....it will just sit in his mailbox until he returns....but a few weeks after that, he should also be receiving the first letter from the NVC, which is the Choice of Agent letter....but they also send it to you...so if they're successful in getting it to you in Egypt [my husband hasn't received a single letter...haha] ...then it won't hold you up at all....but if he could, he should have a friend check his mail for him while he's away, so they can update you guys on that...

...oh, sorry, i just realized you said the receipt for the nvc....after you receive the receipt, you won't be receiving anything else for a couple of months i think...but the only bad thing is that you won't know what your case number is until your husband returns to the US.....so again, i'd suggest he has a friend check his mail for him or something...because once you have the case number, you can check your case status online and have them email you when you with the updates....

Are you talking about the NOA2? If so, he doesn't have to be home to get it. It's simply a notice that your petition is approved.

...that's a mistake on the timeline...it also happened to me...
i think Armenia is the default, i guess because it's at the beginning of the list...haha...
yes the armenia thing is a mistake it just got there ..not by me lol ... well i guess yes ill ask him to ask a friend of his to check his mail!! hehehe i found myself wishing it wd reach him after he gets back looool anyways thanks
