My check also got cashed on Feb-02. I sent my I-130 on December 18, 2007. Till waiting for NOA 1 in the mail

Got my I-130 NOA1 today. (feb.5, 2008)

yay!!!!! they cashed my check on the Feb 4th, still waiting on my noa 1

I can now track my case online!! YES! I used the receipt number on the notice but I also tried tracking the number that was stamped on my check and it didn't work. I will be mailing my I-129F today! Hope I can get my NOA1 within this month.

How do you track it?

I had 2 case numbers also. Off by 2 digits. I've heard it's normal. The one on the NOA1 is the 'real' one that you can check online and all..

I've gone in everyday since I got my number(s) and it still hasn't showed up on the system yet. I'm surprise that yours got in so fast. Way cool!

I was actually surprised!! I was getting ready to wait a couple of weeks before being able to track it online. I hope this is a sign of good things to come. USCIS should be receiving my I-129F today so I'm hoping I'll receive the NOA1 in the next 2 weeks.

I got my NOA 1 for my I-129F application today!! I sent it on 2/6/08, USCIS received it on 2/8/08, and the notice date is 2/11/08! That's about 1 business day from receipt to notice! Now I am officially on the K3 route! And yes, I can track it online already! I'm so happy happy!

they Got mine Dec. 14th, and they sent NOA1 Jan. 25th but :'( they mailed it to California and my wife lives in Cincinnati, Ohio
so we are waiting till now and we dont have it yet

sent our i-130 on 12-17-07 and we still have yet to receive our NOA1 ... i called and they told me we were not in the system yet and to please wait 90 days... before we could file a "formal" complaint.
I also asked why there web site says they are almost up to date when they have not even finished all of December... but there was no answer. grrrr....


I think USCIS has far surpassed the DMV as the slowest branch of the government ever... lol

Received my NOA1 for our I-129F and it is tracking in the system! Very fast turn around compared to the I-130

We got our NOA1 for the I 129f on the 16th of February. That was a great surpise We only sent it in on the 6th and have to go through the CSC. So, we have some hope left that things may be moving quicker than expected now after all...

QUESTION: do you really think the I-129F aka K3 is faster than just going by the I-130? I have heard several times that the K-3 route is not that fast and since they have the 130 in their hands before the K3 docs, they are going to process the ones they get first?

Does anyone have actual experience in this?

my husband sent our CR-1/IR-1 Last December 20, 2007. received NOA1 feb 9, 2008.

This is approval for K1 and their timelines are different than ours.

As I understand, TOUCH means that someone accessed your petition (it's when your LAST ACTION DATE changes on the USCIS online case status). Most people here seems to get a lot of TOUCHES before an approval.

Just wanted to wish the best of luck to all of you - I'm a January filer, so good news for you guys is HOPEFULLY good news for me and the Jan '08 filers lol (of course, that means LOGIC would have to apply to the USCIS process LOL)

NO news... This waiting stuff is extremely painful!!! Just wish that there's a faster way to get this thing moving. I feel like we are being teased. Got all excited with the first NOA1 and then wait a lifetime (feels like it) for the second one.

I check mine virtually non-stop. I have my computer at work and home log on to the that useless USCIS online status page. I don't know how many time I refresh that page in a day. All I know is that if I run an organization like them, I'd provide people with better information!!! Hopefully there will be some sort of activity this week.....

I had a touch on both of my petitions (130 and 129F) on 3/11

Looking at your sig, I saw that one of the petitions got the two touches - did you not get touches on both together? Does it mean anything if they're touched together or not?

Yes, they only touched my I-130. Maybe it was just by accident that it got touched but I believe some people had their I-130 approved first before their !-129F, so maybe I'm going that route.
