I'm a December filer and my I-130 got touched July 3 and 4 (someone was working on the holiday).

And today I got an email .... the dreaded RFE!!!!!!

Damn!! Does it tell you what they want or do you have to wait for something in the mail? Geez

Just think what it could have been, start preparing the info and wait for the letter! Act promptly and you won't be set back too much!

No updates on mine since 7/1... I'm starting to feel sad again.

After multiple communications with my local congressman and a recent visit to the local immigration office.... I FINALLY got them to request my petition to be processed. As of this late afternoon, I am now APPROVED!!!!

Now, I am lost for words! Happiness can not express what I am feeling. Finally, out of USCIS and now to NVC!

I HAVE A NEW TOUCH IN MY K-3!!!!!

I got an RFE for G325A forms and sent it in.

It was received July 17,08 and I received an email on that same day that my case had resumed processing.

Since I was approved for an expedite also, how long should I reasonably expect to get notice of approval?

Any idea's.

I know they say wait 60 days for notice, but since it was an expedite...what now?

I had a touch on my I-130 yesterday! No touch on the I-129F yet...

Another I-130 touch!

Is it normal to be touching just the I-130 and not the I-129F? Last touch on the I-129F is 3/11/08.

Our interview last 7/28/08 went fine and we got the K3 visa today. Too bad our CR1 visa wasn't able to catch up with our K3 but we did get an interview schedule on 9/22/08. Good luck to you all with your own journeys.

Update!!

Touched on 7/31 for I-130...

And then...

8/1 - both I-129F and I-130 approved! Finally.

For reference, it took 222 days to be approved. (That's 7 months, 9 days).

Now I need to figure out how to do the CR-1 thing... Can someone link me to a good guide for that?

I ve contacted my senator and my congressman.I actually went to my congressmans office. Still no luck VSC is bunch of cocksuckers!

What did your Senator and Congressman say. I wrote to my Congressman as well. They sent a letter to VSC last week. So waiting to hear from them...

Sometimes you get the nice congressman's aids that go a little extra to help, you may be lucky enough to get that one. I for one was not My AID was lazy and didnt want to break a nail.

Excited for the next days to come.... We got a touched dated 08/01/2008 for both of our petition cases I-129f and I-130. Finally, after almost 5months of hearing nothing from USCIS hopefully one of this days, good news from VSC will clear our worried minds and put some joy in our hearts.

Hopefully this time its a good sign for us, its been a while huh!

I must say this....The NVC is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy faster than the USCIS ! I am very impressed with there rapid updates. Also it really helps to have your stuff together ahead of time. The "james shortcuts" listed here on visa journey are very helpful. Our I-864 was in the NVC system before I even received the mailed notification.

We got a Notice of Action today (our second) but just to let us know that our case has been transferred from Vermont to California for a faster process (so they say). My new processing time date is January 17, 2008.

Did anybody received the same thing?

2008/08/22 TODAY IS OUR DAY!!!!! Finally APPROVEDDDDDD!!!! My I-130 is Approved!!!!

My husband received the NOA-2 Hardcopy in his mail, today!!!!!! No E-mail! No Updated in the USCIS Web!!

I am very very happy!!!!

Hello fellow December folks!! Been a while since I see updates. Just thought I'd check on everyone's progress to see where they are at?

I got my NOA2 approved in July and will be interviewing in November (which is the earliest they can give us). Its a long process but can't wait for it to be over with.

How's everyone's journey coming along?

I have given up, I hear nothing. Only two touches since Dec 07. First was receiving the original paper work we sent and then second touch was when we got transferred from Vermont to California.

Whenever it comes it will come, is just very depressing reading and watching for nothing.
