Both of my I129F and I130 were touched on 5/19/08. Hope this means both will be approved soon!

At least it gives some assurance that someone is looking at your petition. I do hope something good will result from it soon.
I haven't got a touch yet..... :-(
onizuka
WE GOT APPROVED FOR BOTH PETITIONS!!! Those touches we got on 5/19 turned out to be approvals! I just received 2 approval letters today! On to NVC we go! biggrin.gif

Should I be concerned that the online status of both my petition are still PENDING? I'm just wondering if I need to check with USCIS with this.

please don't be overly concerned about this.

our petitions (130 and 129) were approved last april yet to date, according to the uscis website, our 130 is still pending.

in reality, the 130 has been pending before the nvc for almost 2 months now, while the 129 has been forwarded to the consulate (i'm due for k3 interview this june)

good luck on your journey!

Are there any December 07 folks that recently got their NOA2? I feel that there's only a few of us left that are still left in the dark.
I see that quite a few January and February are getting their approvals already.

Those few of us will be joining 256+ days club.... seems like

i filed my i-130 on december 17th. i have already crossed the 180 day mark. i want to call uscis and find out what's going on, but i don't know if that will actually do anything. have any december filers that are still pending called uscis to find out what's going on. what sucks on top of that is that i am at vsc, which is moving at the pace of snails.

btw, the 180 day rule, does that apply from the date you filed or the date of your noa1?

-fahad
Thai family
It is the date it was received in the mail room. If you got a return receipt from the post office you should know what day that was.

I just called NVC today and was told that they received my I-129F on 5/27/08 and was forwarded to Manila on the same day!! They have also received my I-130 on 5/28/08. I'm not sure why there's a day difference, but I don't really care!! All I know is that I'm happy!! Hope all of the other December filers get approved soon.
Chet
Awesome.....glad you will be with your spouse soon!! I'm still waiting for mine.... mad.gif

Any more December filer(s) out there or am I alone?
Joselito
NO, you are not. Nice to know I am not alone. lol!!!

I'm still here too smile.gif Am I seeing the average time correctly of about 114 days for us according to the time graphs on this site?
Ilya R.
yeah looks like we are the forgotten bunch sad.gif
Chet
Let's pray that we all will not be in this predicament any longer after this week. Everyday feels almost like a lifetime! ClockWatch2.gif

I am telling you, we are the lucky ones who's files just happen to be "left" in that dusty pile that everyone knows is there but keep pushing it to tomorow sad.gif

We have an interview date!! I called about 3 hours ago and scheduled my wife's K3 interview. It will be on July 28, 2008! I will be with her on her interview and hope that everything turns out ok. Time to book my flight! biggrin.gif
Joselito
That is great Onizuka!!! I wish you both all the best.
Chet
Wow! Awesome news! Soon you will be with each other and the rest of our life! How lucky! Good luck with your interview.

yep, I'm a December filer and your not alone.

I have called, cajoled, sweet-talked...nothing helps.

Then I requested an expedite. 5 days later....Nada.

And the denial email stated that I was not the "affected party". (filed under financial hardship).
I know this was wrong because my name (as the requesting party) was listed with the wrong first and last name. And their wasn't a touch, so I doubt anyone really did anything.

Well, I called back and told them that I was "on to them" lol. Now they are "supposedly" doing a complete review which will take 30 days to complete. Uh huh,...and I can fly.

I think our files have fallen behind a vending machine or something! Maybe a cat snuck in the middle of the night and dragged it to some dark hidden hole behind a sheet rock wall. I Should have put a GPS on the packet so I could at least watch it sit there! lol Oh well another week of waiting........... crying.gif

Before I filed for my wife I went to the immigration office to ask questions of how to do things and was told that it will take about a year to get an approval if everything was fine. But by reading in the forum I we got excited because there were people being approved in less than a year. Well, I don't know if these people are telling the truth but looks like it is going to be a year for us which are December filers. I share the frustration with all of you and more so because we are an elderly couple and have just a few years to share our happiness together.

We too are of the older generation and even one day apart is forever when your spouse is past retirement age!!!!!

BAD NEWS! sad.gif

Neetu told me this morning that she got a letter from the US Consulate in Delhi stating that her interview, originally scheduled for July 9th, had been postponed to July 16th ... No reason is specified as per what she told me ... It just said that she is not to show up on the 9th and has to go on the 16th now ...

ONE MORE WEEK ADDED TO WHEN I CAN SEE MY JAAN! sad.gif

She's gonna call the embassy on Monday and see if this is all updated in their system (i.e., the new date) and whether there's a reason ... as to whether we can do anything about it, I doubt it ...

I called the NVC but they had the 9th on their info ... I think this is a unilateral change by the US Consulate in Delhi after the date was previously given....

What crappy luck, huh?

Our approved 129F for K3 was sent to the NVC on 5/12/08 and was randomly selected to go through Administrative Processing. OK. Well, it has been almost 6 weeks and we are still in AP. Of course, when I call they say there is no timeframe for AP. My only source of information is to call once a week and see if there is any movement. I am sitting here watching most other K3's flying through the NVC to the embassies and here we are WAITING, AGAIN. Now, this wouldn't be so bad but from what I understand 99.9% of male applicants from Pakistan go through AP after interview. So we will have to go through AP twice? Great !! Does it do any good to call to check on status? From I have read I see that some people call, but does it help any. As all of you, we are December filers and all we got to show for is one lonely touch which is when they sent us the NOA1.

If you call the 800 number, all they tell you is what you already know on the website regarding the processing time. I still call just to let them know I'm disappointed with the system every once in a while, don't think its working though as we are still waiting!!

I hate the stupid, unfair, unorganized process and I hate them for putting all of us in an emotional and physical turmoil.

Chet:
You've said a mouth full. I worked all my life in a pharmaceutical company where everything is clean and very organized or else we are in trouble, but these people are so unorganized, lazy, and stealing taxpayer's money sitting around doing nothing. I don't see why if a person meets all the required criteria, just approve it and go to the next case. I feel that all these people working with this project are incompetent to do the job.

I AM WAITING TOO!!!!!

It sucks...I thought the Murphy's law was going to strike when I bought my tickets to Russia. Then we thought it was going to strike when my wife bought tickets to come to Saint Petersburg where we'd stay with my family. No such luck. I'm tired of waiting for Murphy's law. Maybe it'll happen as soon as I get into the plane in 2 weeks.

Oh, and I had a touch on my I-130 today!!!!!! (I-129F was sent first, oddly, but maybe this proves the theory that they've given up on the K3 and are processing everyone as CR-1.)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
