hi everyone'i went back to philippines with my 1-551 stamp to my passport without my greencard yet.do i have to get a boarding letter to the US embassy before i get back to the united states?does anyone here done this before?pls i need your advice or opinion about this..thanks

The I-551 stamp, makes your passport into a temp green-card, all you do is present passport to the officer at the POE and they will let you pass just like having the actual green-card.
You do not need to fill out the I-94 card on the plane, and you use the returning resident/citizen line at the POE.
