  1. I would not try to take it inside. Security was very detail-oriented the day I took my oath. Is there someone who could go with you and wait outside with your laptop? You're SO CLOSE to being done! Yay!
  2. Got my passport (it took about 4 weeks). I’m now waiting for them to mail back my certificate of naturalization.
  3. Yes, you can add documents at any point. It did not delay my interview at all. In fact, a out a week after my final upload, I got my interview notice.
  4. This is what I would do: submit my N400 application online with all the documentation I currently have and then, once the latest tax returns documents are ready, I would add them to the application. When I submitted my N400 application, I kept feeding the system with more updated documents as I received them (I did this twice while I waited for the interview).
  5. Final update: I am now a U.S. citizen! 🎉 The ceremony started right at 1 pm and we were done by 1:15-ish. I felt numb all day - and still do. It feels surreal.
  6. @I.Kat, do you know how long the ceremony takes and if visitors are allowed?
  7. @OldUser yeah, I can’t blame you. Whenever you’re ready, you’ll see that it’s the easiest application of them all - and the fact that you can upload all documentation online (and add more as time goes by) is a huge improvement, too. Hope you get the 10-year green card soon and with no address-change-related hiccups. Sending all the best vibes your way!
  8. I am SO happy for you! You put some serious good karma out there with your daily i-751 processing updates! Hurray! Congratulations! Do you intend to apply for citizenship at all?
  9. @Redro @OldUser New update: i-751 status changed to case was approved! Question: how long does it usually take for USCIS to schedule the oath date when the status is “oath ceremony will be scheduled”? And do they usually schedule it like a month away or does it not have any rhyme or reason?
