  1. Hi @Nanestern It looks like they have increased the processing time since we submitted that form in September. I can’t remember what it was, but it was outside the processing time that was posted at the time. I checked now and it’s saying 33 months: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ So if you submitted your petition on Jun 1, 2020, and you submitted that “Outside Normal Processing Time” form on Feb 28, 2023, it would have been 32 months: https://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html?d1=30&m1=6&y1=2020&d2=28&m2=2&y2=2023&ti=on& Double check the new processing times, and when it exceeds it (which should be sometime this month, depending on the date in June 2020 you filed) submit the “Outside Normal Processing Time” form again.
  2. Visit this page: USCIS Contact Center and click “In-Person Services” and you should see the phone number to call. Ask the automated system for an appointment or say “InfoPass” to talk to a person.
  3. Have you tried submitted this form? e-Request - Outside Normal Processing Time - Case Status Online We submitted this 09/12/2022 and got case approved 11/23/2022. edit: I agree this is truly ridiculous. It’s like our applications disappeared into a black hole…
  4. Thanks!! Honestly we should have, but we never got around to it 😩
  5. Update: The case finally has an update!!! “New Card Is Being Produced” We got a text and email today that the card is being produced and will be mailed in the next 30 days. It looks like they waived the interview at last. Hoping for quick resolutions for everyone else still waiting.
  6. Update: Extension letter has expired, case status still says waiting for interview. We got an InfoPass appointment after calling twice, then when my husband went to the field office for the appointment, they told him they would have given him a passport stamp but his passport is expired. So now he’s working on that. If anyone else is in the same boat, if your passport is still valid, call USCIS and ask for an InfoPass appointment to get a passport stamp, let us know how it goes!
  7. Hi @Nanestern, my husband is in the exact same boat—extension letter expires end of September. Have you had any progress with your case?
