In 2016 i applied for a K1 visa. It was accepted but my fiancé changed her mind before going to the interview. In 2018 I obtained a K1 visa for a different woman, who came to the US for 70 days. We decided not to marry so she want home, fully complying with the laws and rules. Being a glutton for punishment I'm considering applying for another K1 for a girl I met a year ago. I realize there is a lifetime cap of 2 K1 visas per applicant. Since the first one was not fully approved (no interview) is it possible that this could be considered my second K1? Would this be a matter of interpretation for the technician who receives the application? Has anyone heard of someone applying under similar circumstances? I realize VJ is always above board so of course I only expect straight answers based on fact, not hypotheticals or emotions.

OK dude. That makes my decision making process quite a bit simpler. Nice to talk to someone so well connected to the immigration process as you. One question, though, how do they find out about me? Are you going to tell one of your connections? If I'm doing something wrong, you probably should tattle on me. Those rules exist for a reason. Keep kicking ###! I'd also like to make it absolutely clear that you are smarter than me, and superior in every possible way. I suspect proving that is among your goals.

why would you doubt that? The cc advertises that they have a thriving international student program. As for why she would want to study at that particular institution of higher learning, other than her bf owns a house 2 miles from it, good question.

Is that right? The embassy is the only government entity that has any input? I guess she would use SEVP. It appears that that is part of ICE. Is that correct?

Thanks for that input. I will advise her not to apply for more than one type of visa. I don't know what she really wants to do, I'm just helping her explore some options. Since neither her nor I want to marry each other, K1 or marriage visas are not something she would consider, at least not with me, haha.

That k1 was cancelled. And it's a different girl. My gf now has never applied for a visa. The school is qualified and yes I realize she needs to be accepted there and fill out their paperwork. According to their site, it appears that the timeline is doable. My question is whether there is enough time from the uscis side of things. What I'm really asking is if a university student visa for fall 23 is even remotely possible if the process is started now.

My Romanian gf would like to visit the US on a tourist visa, ideally starting in June or July 23. What is a typical timeline for that type of visa? Do Romanians have an average chance of acceptance?

My Romanian gf wants to study at a community college in Oregon. I have checked on their website, and it doesn't look like things would be held up by them. Is it at all reasonable to hope that if we apply now, that she would receive a visa to begin classes September 11?
