Had my oath ceremony yesterday. It was 500-600 people in the room. No family or friends allowed. Took a long time for everyone to check in and get their papers. The ceremony itself was about 2 minutes. Said the oath and got our certificates, and that was it. Feels good to have it over with. Good luck to everyone still waiting!
Thanks! I was lucky. A few days ago I saw N400 applicants from my field office who had their interview at the beginning of June who still hadn't been scheduled for their oath ceremony. So you're not the only one.
Had my interview today and was recommended for approval. Interview went fine, although the officer had a heavy accent which was difficult to understand. My status on the USCIS website has updated to "Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled". Yay!
Yes. I received my biometrics reuse notice in December. Then, I got my appointment notice in May, scheduled for June. Sacramento office. They'll get to you soon!
I'm out of the loop... How does the oath ceremony work these days? I've read that some people get their oath ceremony done the same day as their interview.
Hello everyone,
Does anyone know how fast you are assigned an oath ceremony after your interview at the Sacramento field office? I have heard of some people completing their oath ceremony the same day as their interview.
Received an email today that action was taken on my case. I looked at the notice under "Documents" on the USCIS website and an interview has been scheduled for June 29. Filed July 11, 2020. My field office is Sacramento, CA.
