  1. Good luck. Yes, there are only 100 possible questions. Wife re-wrote the list from USCIS, then studied that for a couple weeks.
  2. Ability to support a new immigrant is determined by current income, not tax returns......unless self-employed. Since you mentioned salary, current annual income is calculated by: Gross income from most recent paystub multiplied by the number of pay periods in 12 months.
  3. That just seems like a long trip to the US without also planning to meet a boyfriend. I wish you good luck on your journey. If you apply to adjust status, remember that you cannot travel outside the US or work in any way inside the US without proper authority (Advance Parole and Employment Authorization Document). That could take 3 to 6 months. Good luck.
  4. There have been MANY MENA country cases here on VJ over the past 8 years I have been around.
  5. The only opinion which counts is that of the Consulate Officer. More time together is ALWAYS a good thing for US immigration...especially for some countries.
  6. Current income is calculated as follows: Gross income from most recent paystub multiplied times the number of pay periods in a year (12 months). Self-employed persons must use other methods.
  7. The guideline pertains to CURRENT income....not what was reported on tax returns.
  8. Why didn't you tell CBP that you were also going to visit the boyfriend? You traveled to his state. Have you been in this relationship long?
  9. Yep. Better to have a backup I-130, imo. You just never know what the future holds.
  10. Agree. I don't think fewer pieces of evidence for an I-751 is an advantage. I would opt for more rather than less when it comes to an I-751.
