Update just received the passport today 9/28!! Yeah! -
My Child application - Passport application submitted at local City Hall: 8/28 Passport status changed to "In Process" and payment cashed: 9/5 Record locator starts with 18 I paid for expediate and 2 day shipping. Finger crossing as we are traveling on 11/5!!!

Any update on your case? Have your gotten your passport yet? @faithful12 I just applied for my kid expediate and 2 days shipping. The rep said please expect at least 11 weeks..... and We have to travel in the beginning of NOV... I am hoping for the best.
