We met on the internet in June 2012, within 1 month Jennifer quit everything and came to the UK on a 3 week return plane ticket. Well she never went back. Instead in January 2013 we said goodbye to my friends and family and set off in a 1997 Rover 620 on a journey of more than 3000 miles through North, Central and Eastern Europe. (Maybe North West Asia). France north to Beligum before heading east through NL (we flattened the battery with heaters and no engine running) jump start and onwards to Germany (two overnight sleeps) and then Poland (1 night), we then drove to Ukraine but were bounced because we didn't have paperwork for the car (or vodka to bribe the guards one or the other), then 3 weeks in Poland, then south to Slovakia (10 euro fine for dogs in the car and digital paperwork),3 weeks in Poland again, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria (awful rude border guards "Protecting the fronteir of Europe from Serbia). 1 week in Sofia, Bulgaria, then onwards through Turkey (3-4 days to cross), then into Georgia.
Georgia confiscated our car because our paperwork was faxed from the UK and 3 had to travel on by bus, 3 weeks later we got the car and all our possessions.
Did I mention 2 dogs in tow?
2 Dogs passed on, 2 new dogs I-130 done, AOS done, Agent form done.. now we wait.
