  2. 18 months for DCF or for the regular process? Just looking at the "exceptional circumstances" again, his wife might qualify under employment change as the company she's working for may close their london office and work only from the US.
  3. Oh I'm just looking and the "exceptional circumstance" thing is new. Thanks for the heads up, I guess they can't do DCF after all.
  4. Yes, his circumstances are exactly the same as mine were. He's Irish, married to an American for seven years, living together in the UK for several years (in their case 12 years now).
  5. Apologies, couldn't find a timeline thread. I got my visa via DCF to the London Embassey in 2014, and now it's my brother's turn. What is the current typical turnaround time from first sending docs to passport in hand? When I did mine it was 4 months from submitting package to interview and then had my passport shortly after. Is it still around the same?
