i met Patrick on a music site called Last.fm in January 2009. We had the same favorite band (The Replacements), and started writing each other and sending mixes. We became really good friends, and somewhere along the way we started to fall in love. On December 3rd, 2012, we met for the first time in person, and he stayed here for three months. It took a long time for us to get our K-1 Visa because the embassy had set up an interview without contacting us at all, and then we had to have the visa revalidated, which caused things to take an extra few months. He came here on September 10th, and we got married on November 7th, 2014. He received his conditional permanent resident card. We filed our I-751 for removal of conditions and now we're patiently waiting for his new card to arrive so we don't have to think about paperwork for a while!
