    Maia and I first met on Skype on April 19, 2009. We struck up simple conversa- tions and learned about each other’s lives and cultures. We started to commu- nicate more daily via video chat and instant message. We learned that we have a lot in common and that we share the same beliefs and philosophies. We met for the first time on July 27, 2011 in Tbilisi, Georgia. I stayed at Maia’s family’s apartment. Most of our activities were sightseeing around the country.

    Thanks buddy. I was confused on the description for B visas in the DS-160 form online. My MIL doesn't speak any English, so we filled out the form and submitted it for her. No need for immigration as she's getting Italian permanent residency right now.

    Thank you both. I just realized that the response for B said (temp business pleasure visitor) which sounded like something else. I feel like an idiot but when I google for an answer, I only got immigrant NS-5 application articles.

    Hi everyone. You guys were super helpful years ago when I went through the process of bringing my wife to the US before we got married. She hasn't seen her family in many years and her mom wants to visit us this year. I am stuck trying to figure out what visa to apply for. She doesn't want to become a permanent resident - she's in the process for that in Italy. So I started the B2 visa application as tourism, and I don't see an option for purpose of the trip as either tourism or visiting immediate family... N8 is for a parent of a special immigrant, which I find as something related to a NATO employee or something. Definitely not our case here. NS-5 is what many of our friends have done for their parents, but this is an immigrant visa application. Am I looking in the wrong place? Does anyone have any support in this area? Any speedy responses will be greatly appreciated. დიდი მადლობა
