Which vaccines do I need before the interview for CR1/IR1?

I did a google search and find this

I believe those in dark green are needed, but how about those in blue?

 

As you can see from that linked chart, what a 30yo adult needs is:

1. Td/Tdap

2. MMR

3. Varicella (unless they have had chicken pox before - some doctors will take a patient's word for it, some doctors will perform a blood immunity test)

4. Influenza (only if it is flu season, i.e. Oct 1 - Mar 31, which it is not)

 

Are these 4 are good enough?

That info is more general. The best is if you lookup the website of US embassy or consulate in your country. They will have specific info on Medical and required vaccinations.

I'm interested in this too. I can't find a definitive answer as to whether or not they just give you these vaccinations at the medical examination. They talk about "if you haven't had them before..." But I don't know if my husband's mother can find his vax records from when he was a kid? Will they just give him everything at the required medical?

 

Because on the website for the practice in our city that does this exam, they ask for the patient to BRING their vaccination records. What if he doesn't have them?

The medical facilities are familiar with local vaccination policies as to what is likely to have been given before.  In the case of smallpox, for example, they can see the vaccination scar.  In most cases actual vaccination records are not needed.  They'll just give you the vaccinations they determine are needed.  This DOES vary by location, so be prepared for needles.

In Singapore, it seems that anything older than 10 years is deemed invalid. We all had MMR and Tdap shots as kids (over 20 years ago for me) but since a fellow Singapore filer was told to re-take them, I decided to do the same at a public clinic prior to the medical examination (cheaper that way) and take those records with me. You might want to call up the appointed clinic for the medical checkup and ask them for sure. My guess is if he doesn't have the vaccination records, he will need to retake the shots.

Yeah it certainly does. Good to prepare for needles though  I took 3 jabs on a single afternoon in January and going for second dose of MMR this Friday 💉💉💉
