If there's any chance of getting visitor while you are waiting on NVC part of your CR1  ?

We're going through extreme hardship and need to be together asap! :((

I'm the petitioner and my father is sick with serious health issues and need assistance to do basic things.

And I'm raising my daughter all alone.

I used to travel and see my husband every two months but since my father's health got worst I'm not able to travel to see my husband. I just want my husband to be allowed to travel.

We just to be together, idk why govt has to be so cruel....:(

Sad to hear that

Be positive and you can request expedite request to NVC on basis of health problems or any serious problem.

Secondly many try for visitor visa during this process but there is very less percentage in which visitor visa was issued with NOA 2.

They often ask you to wait for your CR1-IR1 to get completed at embassy.

So have you already filed for his CR1 visa yet, if not how soon are you going to file?

looks like you have applied and been approved already, you can ask for expedite at the NVC level but not a guarantee you will get it, after all the papers have been turned in and fees paid its an average 8-12 weeks to get interview.

If he has a good job and a plan to leave when papers are done tou might get it.  I explained to the interviewer that she can see I run a business, fancy office and no intention of staying till papers are done ... explained I just needed to be there for family ocassions... etc and that we were torn with the separation I got it :)

Has he applied for a visa?

A deeply religious man, whom I will call Dave, finds himself in dire financial trouble. He prays earnestly to his God to help him out of his predicament. "God, I'm about to lose my car. Please help me. Let me win the lottery." Lottery night comes, but sadly, Dave is not the winner.

Things go from bad to worse. Without a car to get to work, Dave loses his job. Without a job, his mortgage is foreclosed on, and he loses his home. Without a home, his wife leaves him, taking the kids. After each horrible step in the mounting crisis, he pleads with God to let him win the lottery, but he never does.

Finally, broke, hungry, living on the street, he tries again. "God, please, my life is a wreck. I have no car, no home, no family. Please let me win the lottery just this once so that I can turn my life around. I beseech you."

Suddenly, a flash of light rends the sky, and the voice of God echoes down from the heavens. "Dave, meet me halfway. Buy a ticket.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Possible? Yes. Likely? No. The only way to know for sure is to apply.

Unless I misunderstood something, the OP is the USC and therefore can return to / stay in the US at any time to take care of the father. They won't care about the hardship in being unable to visit their husband due to having obligations at home (father, child, etc.).

Al depends on the relationship between the father and husband and the nature of the fathers illness.

Sure the CR1 could try for a B, but the issue they're likely to run into is the possibility the CO might see this as an effort to circumvent the CR1 wait time in India. With the beneficiary's company having a US branch he/she hopes to work at, there's virtually no incentive to return to India to await consular processing. CP vs AOS just saves at most 4-6 months.
