"New Card is Being Produced" in i485 status - no interview?

Hey team!

As the title says, I checked the status on my 3 applications all submitted at the same time (AOS, EAD, AP) and my AOS application has the message that a new card is being produced.

We haven't had an interview, nor have we been scheduled for one. The other 2 cases for ead and ap haven't been updated except for that they were "received" 102 days ago.

I didn't think USCIS were waiving interviews anymore for K1 holders? Or am I just mixed up and can expect an interview summons as well?

cheers!

K1 -- AOS interviews get waived all the time.  Its random.  Personally we had an interview and got our green card much faster than those that were waived.

Congratulations!

No, you are good to go and just wait for the cards in the mail. That was really fast for your AOS. God must be looking out for you.

That's amazing that it happened so fast for you! I believe it's very rare to get GC in 3 months...

Out of curiosity, did you attach any bona fide marriage and shared residence proof as well?

Thanks guys. Big surprise for us too.

We sent them all they needed and nothing extra. We'd only been living together for just over a month when submitting the package, and our rental agreement is very unofficial with the landlord (who's in her 80's) so we didn't have a lot of extras. No RFEs or anything. Pretty blessed indeed!

Often heard that people without an interview get GC later than those with one! This is one exception!

Congratulations!
