How Long Until Case Displays on USCIS Website?

Got my NOA1 on January 10th, 2018. On the USCIS website, it still says my case is invalid/not recognized. How long is the delay until it's updated? Some sources say a week, others say 45 days...

I am past 4 months (coming to 5) and it still doesn't work. There is a chance that they never entered the number into the system (doesn't mean the case isn't progressing though). You might want to call them and check after 45 days or so.

My PD is Jan 3rd. For my service center, I got the enotification on Jan 8th and the hard copy on Jan 12, my apps keep searching with errors, but I have found other numbers that are dated with Jan 4th with active numbers for I-130, it does make me wonder whats wrong with mine. Even the email says to wait till I get the hard copy to check the online status. I also have double check the numbers on both email and hard copy to make sure they match and they do.

Yeah same here, I even copy-paste to make sure I'm not typing it wrong :/ it seems rather odd they can't just add it to their system...? They had to issue a receipt/case number anyway. 

 

Someone I talked to with a PD of Jan 10 and also sent to the NSC was told by a USCIS agent to wait 45 days for it to be updated online but that seems like a ridiculous wait :U

Nope I didn't call because it seemed impossible to get to a Tier 2 employee. I have sent an enquiry through my husband's congressman and we are going to ask for answers tomorrow.
