How long does it take to get back Nat certificate?

We had our ceremony mid-November.  We applied for a passport the same day.  We expedited the passport because my husband needed it for travel.  We got his passport a little over a week later, and now mid-January we still have not received his naturalization certificate. They told us it would be sent separately and in a slower method so to not worry, but two months later, and I'm getting nervous.

 

About how long does this take?  Who should I call to try to figure this out?

Should be only couple of days after passport. 

 

Definitely call and check on it.

Normally you receive it a couple of days to a week at most after the passport (I received mine back the very next day after I had the passport in my hands)....try calling the passport agency/office you applied at and see what info they can give you about it.

No, it doesn’t :-)

 

That was why I went the passport agency route (and expedite fees) to not have to wait for them to mail the certificate back.
