My girl had a social security number ONLY for work when she was here in the US. Do I need to write that into the blanks on the petition asking for her SSN. Im not very educated on that matter. Is there a difference between a SSN that's exclusively for work and a SSN issued for ID? I know this question may be a bit confusing but I am a bit confused/unsure myself.

If she already has a SSN previously, state the number wherever it's asked on the USCIS forms. The same SSN can be re-used once she's moved over with her K-1.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

It's one SSN for life even if your status changes (for example from work visa holder to permanent resident) so you must write that number on the form.
