Hi,

 

I got my US citizenship long long time ago through marriage and I divorced years ago.  

 

 

I'm filling out the I-134 for my fiancee and I have a question....

 

I have my Certificate of Naturalization. I don't know what I have to check. For me it appears    that the question 11a and 11b are contradictory each other...

Please help me to decide which I have to check.

 

 

11a. I have a Certificate of Naturalization.

 

11b I got my US citizenship through marriage but I don't have a Certificate of Citizenship number....

You received your citizenship through naturalization, not marriage. The marriage did not automatically make you a citizen, the naturalization process did. 

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!
