Uscis contact number?

Does anyone know the Uscis contact number. I applied for spouse visa and waiting for approval. I dnt know the number to contact Tier 2 officer. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Call toll-free 1-800-375-5283

 

This is the number official from USCIS page.

Call them and dial 4 times 2 to speak to an officer!

There's no direct line for a Tier 2 officer. Just call the main line and make a request.

If you call the main line, you´re going to be minutes and minutes, dialing and dialing.

Doing that 4 times 2 you´re going to be direct to an Officer!

It's the same number in both of our posts. The one you posted is the main (customer service) line.

I'm unsure of what is meant by "doing that 4 times 2"...?

I already got this number. When i tried to call it goes to automated service and does not allow to speak to any officer.

That´s a call center, of the options that they list in the machine, dial four times 2 and that will take you with the officer, I´ve received that advise and my wife, to ask about our LIN # followed it and was leaded to the agent following this advise!

Instructions:

Dial the number:

Of all the options dial 2.

Listen all the new options, dial 2 again.

Listen all the new options again, dial 2.

Listenall the new options, and again, dial 2.

Then you will be contacted with the (human) agent!

Otherwise, calling to the main number and listening to instructions you will be half an hour with your ear getting red and hot!

So it's "dial 2 four times". "Dial four times 2" is confusing me.

 

Gotcha. So it's just the options to choose instead of listening to the prompts. I generally avoid providing that set of exact options as they do change fairly regularly and without warning, and may not always match the exact circumstances of the poster (although I do believe it applies in the OP's case!).

 

The backup is to start jamming the 0 key like a madman. This works to get a human on most services, not just USCIS. And yes, sometimes it takes several tries after getting the same prompt that "0" is invalid or whatever.

Yes, it's all automated when you call to route your request to the appropriate department. But eventually there is a person.

Yews, those are the options, to talk with the agent, without going around! 

Yes , just to talk to them you have to do that, other way is a waste of time!

But I usually just choose these options to get to first agent fast

1 2 2 2

1 for English 

2   case information / questions on case 

2.   Can't find receipt # 

2.   Still can't find receipt #  

And this will transfer to rep during normal. Call hours
