How long does it take to get finger print letter after I got I-797?

I sent my document on 10/23 so I got i-797 NOA 10/30. I thought I'm going to get my finger print letter within one month. 

It is already December. I started to worry. Should I call USCIS office? or wait little more?

You can call them, but usually (to be honest) the people at the call center don't actually know anything. They might be able to see if the biometrics (fingerprint letter) has been sent, though.

Everything at USCIS is ridiculously backed up right now, though, especially at CSC so it's totally not outside the realm of possibility that they haven't sent it.

You don't seem to have a timeline linked to your profile, so I'm not sure which service center you applied to. (:time:) If you applied at CSC, there are lots of people who haven't yet done biometrics. Visit this thread to find out more about the people who filed around the same time you did:

If you look at the August 2017 filers some of them are talking about not receiving a bio metrics appointment and some are talking of bio metrics waivers. It seems they are SO back logged that they can't even process bio-metrics any more. I am clueless to why there is such a vast back log, can't blame this one on DACA or such.  Just boggles my mind to be honest.  What a hot mess!

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

USA citizen as of 25th of July 2018. :)
