It is a full physical exam to make sure that no communicable diseases are brought into the USA.

Chest X-Ray, Blood tests for STDs, syphyllis, Gonorrhea, etc, Visual inspection of the genitals, eye test, TB test, etc, Lung and chest ascultation, BP, etc, DRUG tests for illegal substances

The tests results 'should' be shared with only the examinee but the results are given in a sealed envelope. I do not think even the CO is allowed to open them. They go in the Brown Packet you carry with you on the plane and that too is sealed.

No threadmill..

Mine was 90% conversational. Was asked if I feel any pain or discomfort and got my bpm counted as well as stethoscope placed over my chest.

I was given the option to get the TB and STD tests done elsewhere, so I can use my insurance. If your TB test comes back positive, then an X-ray will be required.

OP you should list your country in your profile and then get this moved to your country specific forum as this question depends on the country you are from.

Some countries require stuff done that other countries don't have to do.

Strange question, but do they do rectal exams? I've never had a physical where I've allowed the doctor to examine my private parts as I'm particularly shy.

No they do not. And not all countries have to show their private parts.

Never heard of it being required for I-693. I'm particularly shy too, so thank goodness it wasn't a requirement.

The physical is treated more as a very general health check. You should read through the whole form to get a better feel of what's being asked. From my experience they only do what's asked on the form.

Agreed. In many parts of Asia and Africa, TB is endemic. Hep C as well. I am not sure if titers are done for Hep B or C.
