Hello everyone ,

 

Thanks for the your guidance/advice   through the path of becoming a US green card holder  , landed in California 5months ago and got married to my wife within  the timeline that was given  by the US consulate  .

 

But realized  i submitted my original birth certificate to the consulate that interviewed me, the consulate failed to return my original birth certificate with the visa package and i have no other copy of it ! hence,


have contacted the USCIS and the US border patrol several times and got no luck ,means they refused to send me the copy of my birth certs ….please i need ya'all advice or suggestion on  how to go about 

filling for the US green card …!!!!

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!

I agree with the above answer....If you can apply online on your home country's government website which gives certified birth certificate then you can apply and ask one of your family member to courier it to you.

I have no idea about that but if you can get a original birth certificate from your home country then you shouldn't have any problems during AOS

I know you can get a police record (arsivli adli sicil kaydi) from e-devlet, you might also be able to get a copy of your birth certificate (vukuatli nufus kayit ornegi), check it out. Also I believe the sworn affidavit you are referring to is the certified translator's translation or the notary public's stamp? You technically do not need either of those, you need a translation but you do not need a certified translator for that.

USCIS will not send you copies of anything, so you can stop trying to get them that way.
