Hi everyone,

I'm an Algerian living in the US, I came here with a K1 Visa , my problem now is Military service. i came to the US using Deferment (delay) because I was a student back there and now i can't go back to visit because if so the military will take me and i will have a problem coming back to US.

So my question is : is any solution or way to get the Exemption from the US without going back to Algeria ?

Please share your experience

Thank you

Good morning,

I believe you can inquire it at the Consulate in U.S. Depending on your date of birth, you may qualify to receive your military card. The steps should be found online or you may call the Algerian Consulate in New York to ask them. I know they're issuing them.
