Affidavit of support question

Timeline

I am petitioning my mother, i have zero income, my husband is filing I864a with me, on the first section of the form part 1 , im confused should i be selcting 1.a where it says i am the petitioner, i filed or am filing for the inmigration of my relative or should i choose 1e that says i am the _ first _ second of two joint sponsors.?? Thanks.

Petitioner is always is the primary sponsor (regardless your income) and your husband will be the joint sponsor(as you have mentioned). You should select 1.a where it says i am the petitioner and your husband should choose 1.d  it says i am only  joint sponsor. Unless you have more than one joint sponsors.

I still need help with this. Am I supposed to select 1a or 1e on the form I864 if I'm using my husband as a household member sponsor. He's filing I864a the above response is not clear and that's not even an option on either form.

I am sorry but my husband is filling out form I864A there is no option for 1.d there... im still confused

On I-864A, Option is 1.C I am not the intending immigrant. I am the sponsor's household member. I am related to the sponsor as his\her spouse. You can check bellow links for more information
