  • June 5 got checklist NVC can not accept birth certificate
  • lawyer send same copy of birth certificate and a letter explaining that we can not obtain other bc (NVC reveived mail on June 9)
  • after call so many times case went under Supervisor Review (June 16)
  • after so many calls I was able to talk with Supervisor , she explain to me why birth certificate was not accepted, logo in the middle of the bc is not clear they need a clear copy, she also review latest mail and guess what lawyer sent again a copy that is not clear (so If I had not called I would not have known the problem, I would have waited for 11 weeks and get a second checklist) supervisor suggested to send a color copy which I did
  • this time I make sure to sent a color copy of the bc mail was received July 13 which is my new scan date
  • today I called I was able to talk with a supervisor (Carol) but she told me I need to wait for 11 weeks for mail to be review :(:(:(:(:(:(:( but I will call tonight again until either my case goes to supervisor review or a supervisor can help me to complete case its just to verify birth certificate that's all

Sorry ☹️

had similar issue, have a lawyer too and I just assumed they would put the case number on everything, but honestly I didn't know that was even necessary to do (I haven't even bothered to ask my lawyer about it).

If everyone could do email filing there would be no documents to say something is missing or never sent smh

You haven't sent your pcc to them yet?

Hi Trininurse! Thank you for starting this forum. This is a great idea to bring everyone together that has had a checklist, to keep track of the NVC process.  Just wanted to share the following that I have been recently sharing with others who have received a checklist.

===

There are 2 possible types of checklist resolutions, doesn't mean they'll work but it's def worth trying..

One, submit the corrected document in ASAP.. once confirmed that the NVC has receipt.. Wait about a week, call back to ask to have a supervisor to get in contact with you.. They may refuse, but it has worked for those that kept on calling back.. Supervisor then would review the new document and give a CC ASAP versus waiting 8-11 weeks again.

See these posts from @cadtousa

Other option: ask for your case to be expedited..

How to expedite at NVC?

Go to this link has good information how to go about it.

http://boureypeatnut...m/expedite.html

Just to remind everyone to revisit the NVC

Like I said, doesn't work for everyone but it doesn't hurt to try.
