Hi guys,

 

I am a US citizen and applying 130 for my sister (first time applying for her). I have previously applied 130 for my parents and they are in US on greencard. 

 

I have question about the question:

"Have you ever previously filed petition for this beneficiary or any other alien?" (I selected Yes as I have previously filed for my parents)

 

But where should i fill out my parents info: From section 2a. - 5 OR  Relative-1 and Relative-2?

It's going to be much faster for your parents to petition your sister under the F2A (minor child of an LPR under 21-this will take about two years) or F2B (unmarried child of an LPR over 21-this will take about seven years) preference. 

 

If you petition her under the F4 family preference (sibling of a US citizen), it will take around 14 years for her priority date to become current.

Day 400 (2/7/19) Denial revoked; N-400 approved; oath ceremony set for 2/14/19

Day 407 (2/14/19) Oath ceremony in Dallas, TX

@Dee elle Thank you for your prompt and to the point reply. So I will add my dad's name in that section and at the end of the 130 forum add following info

 

page number: 8

part number : 5 

item number: 2a (???)

 

and fill out my moms name there..... correct?

hi

i wanna apply for my sister but she is married and has 2 daughter so can you lil bit guide me to how can i apply for whole family? i have to fill seperate forms for everyone or just one form for my sister and others information is mention in form? plz help me for this

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

August 7, 2022: Wife filed N-400 Online under 5 year rule.

November 10, 2022: Received "Interview is scheduled" letter.

December 12, 2022:  Received email from Dallas office informing me (spouse) to be there for combo interview.

December 14, 2022: Combo Interview for I-751 and N-400 Conducted.

January 26, 2023: Wife's Oath Ceremony completed at the Plano Event Center, Plano, Texas!!!😁

February 6, 2023: Wife's Passport Application submitted in Dallas, Texas.

March 21, 2023:   Wife's Passport Delivered!!!!

May 15, 2023 (about):  Naturalization Certificate returned from Passport agency!!

 

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
