Hello everyone .

I started process for cr1 visa since 4 years now , but everything is stop at the point that  because I have to find sponsor for my case and  my wife have to have a work and get pay checks prove .

At that point everything are stopped but problem don't , being I don't able to be with her at USA or she worry about travel to Egypt because circumstances cause issues almost ruin the marriage .

But Finally I think I have a sponsor now but my wife still not working .

I live nowadays  in a  different country than my country of birth ( Egypt ) , what I and my wife thinking about that she can fly to me and stay with me for long term  , searching for work and processing the case from overseas

(sound good but I don't sure if that possible or she must have stable life in USA)

She must have a domicile in the USA. She will be your main sponsor no matter what. It's the co sponsor you need to find.

Also if the cr1 process takes 4 years now, I'd try to contact the uscis and see if you didn't get denied or something. It doesn't take that long.

4 years? Indeed check your case status, even for LPR's of the US it takes about 2 years; but after so long make sure your case did not expire....

Also like above, the petitioner has to prove domicile in the US to get approval. Regardless of co-sponsor, the petitioner(your wife) is still the primary sponsor.

The process didn't take 4 years. They did not meet the required income for the AOS. Now they have a cosponsor.

Thanks guys , for sure case didn't take that long . we  only didn't meet with the requiredment . hope we do soon .

For my case it's at the  NVC office and it didn't expired because I do call or send Email at least once a year to make it goes on .

The plan B , my wife trying to find an online jobs in this case she will able to travel and at same time working and get pay checks from America company to continue the case .
